Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Moshi

Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to Moshi, a busy town nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Once you check into your hotel, take some time to rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Enjoy a relaxing evening, perhaps with a walk around the town to stretch your legs after the journey.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp

Today marks the beginning of your Kilimanjaro trek. After breakfast, you’ll drive to Machame Gate, the starting point of your hike. The trail takes you through a lush rainforest, where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the vibrant flora and fauna. The path can be muddy and slippery, so take your time. After a few hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at Machame Camp where you will be camping for the night . Here, you’ll set up your tent and enjoy a hot meal prepared by your support team.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

After breakfast, continue your ascent, leaving the rainforest behind as you enter the moorland zone. The landscape changes dramatically, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro’s peaks. The hike today is steeper and more challenging, but you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking scenery and rugged terrains all through your walk . By mid-afternoon, you’ll reach Shira Camp, located on a rocky plateau. Spend the evening enjoying the view and resting up for the next day’s journey.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Today is a crucial acclimatization day. You’ll hike from Shira Camp to the Lava Tower, a volcanic rock formation standing at 4,600 meters. The altitude gain will help your body adjust to the thin air. After reaching the Lava Tower, you’ll descend to Barranco Camp. This descent helps with acclimatization and allows your body to recover. Barranco Camp is situated in a valley below the Barranco Wall, a steep cliff that you’ll climb tomorrow.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

Start the day by tackling the Barranco Wall. This challenging but manageable climb involves some scrambling and offers fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the top, the trail continues through a series of valleys and ridges. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. Spend the evening preparing your gear and resting, as you’ll begin your final ascent around midnight.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp

Around midnight, you’ll start your climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro. The trail is steep and rocky, and the air is thin, but the experience is unforgettable. As you approach the summit, the first light of dawn will appear, guiding your way. Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, just as the sun rises. Celebrate this incredible achievement and take in the panoramic views before descending back to Barafu Camp for a short rest. Afterward, continue down to Mweka Camp, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Transfer to Tarangire

Complete your descent to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificate. From here, you’ll be transferred to Arusha, where you can freshen up and have lunch. Then, continue your journey to Tarangire National Park known for its huge herds of  elephants . Day 8: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Serengeti

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and then set off for the Serengeti. The drive takes you through stunning landscapes, and you’ll likely see more wildlife along the way. Arrive in the Serengeti by late afternoon and settle into your lodge.

Day 9: Serengeti Safari

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world.
