Day By Day Itinerary For 8 Days Lemosho Route
Day 1: Lemosho Glades:
Your adventure commences at the picturesque starting point of the Lemosho Route, where dense rainforest envelops you in vibrant greenery. The trail winds through this lush vegetation, with towering trees forming a canopy overhead. The atmosphere is filled with the melodious calls of native birds, the sounds of the birds usher you into the Kilmanajro mountain .
Day 2 : Shira Plateau:
Ascending higher , you will head into Shira plateau an expanse of landscapes that are a mixture of scattered trees , the plateau has grasslands and volcanic rocks. You will spend the night at Shira camp .
Day 3: Moir Camp:

When you finally reach Barafu Camp, sitting high on a rocky ridge under the stars, you feel excited for the achivement , but remain determined for the final day is almost here.
Day 7: Summit and Mweka Camp:
The big day starts early, before the sun rises, as you begin your final climb to Uhuru Peak. It’s super cold and the temperatures tend to lower, but you keep going up with your headlamp guiding the way and your friends by your side. When the sun starts to come up, you finally reach the top. The view is amazing you can see so far! Standing on Africa’s highest peak feels incredible it’s an accopolishment to tick off your bucket list for travel. You feel really proud of yourself for making it this far. After enjoying the moment, you start walking back down to Mweka Camp. It’s in a lush rainforest, where you’ll spend the night thinking about the memorable experinces gotten from the summi of Mountain Kilmanajro.
Day 8 : Mweka Park Gate:
You start walking down through the rainforest, surrounded by lots of green plants. It feels nice because it’s shady and cooler compared to the sunny parts higher up. As you keep going down, you see all kinds of plants and animals. Finally, you reach Mweka Park Gate, and that’s the end of your journey. It feels kind of sad, but you also feel really proud and thankful for all the amazing things you saw and did on Mount Kilimanjaro.
