Detailed Itinerary for Materuni Waterfalls & Kikuletwa Hot Springs
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide who will accompany you to your accommodation in Arusha. Take this day to relax and prepare for the adventures ahead. Enjoy the surroundings of Arusha and later you will have dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Transfer to Materuni village
After enjoying a very delicious breakfast at you lodge , check out and set off for Materuni village which is located near at the footstool of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will go for a guided tour of the village where you will discover the local culture here and there way of life. Walking through the coffee plantations ,you will also go through the farming process of coffee from the locals around.
After this you will head to the enormous Materuni waterfall, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim capturing breath taking photos. From here you will head to the materuni hot springs where you will enjoy a hot lunch. After an incredible moment at the hot springs, head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Visit to Kikuletwa Hot Springs
After breakfast you will set off to the kikuletwa hot springs , also known as the Chemka hot springs located in the Hai district of Kilimanjaro region. The hot springs are near Moshi town, the footstool of Kilimanjaro mountain. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside and upon arrival you will have a short walk that will lead you to the turquoise waters of Kikuletwa hot springs. You can spend the rest of the days swimming and later enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch right here at the hot springs . Later in the afternoon, we’ll return to Arusha, and transfer either to Kilimanjaro airport or drop off at your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, we’ll arrange for your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 3 Days Materuni Waterfalls and Kikuletwa Hot Springs adventure.
